Watching the Cockburn Range near the Pentecost River in the Kimberley as the sun sets, is indeed an incredible spectacle. One can sense an aura of aboriginal spirit hauntingly hovering in the area. The scene can almost leave you breathless with amazement. The range seems to show off its announcement of the end of day activities with an impressive afterglow. Glowing like embers of a camp fire, it is almost telling you how much heat has been absorbed during the day and at last, allowed to release it in a pre-evening display of extraordinary talent. A very sacred moment.
